Wing Commander Rakesh Gupta served in the Indian Air Force for 25 years. He was actively involved in training Ab-initio fighter pilots. He was a qualified flying instructor. In addition he had completed the ‘Instrument rating Instructor and Examiners course. He also served as an Instructor at the Institute of Flight Safety for few years and was the Chief Flying Instructor at the Air Force Academy Bidar for two years.

Creating a learning platform and ‘on the job’ training to churn out fighter pilots was his passion.

He has been an Interviewing officer at the defense services ‘Service Selection Board’. His expertise included behavioral analysis of the aspirants wanting to join the IAF.

He has been the source of inspiration to many and has helped the IAF build strong, disciplined qualified fighter pilots to serve the country in trying times. He has touched the lives of at least a 1000 people and is passionate about coaching and mentoring them to show them their real potential.

After leaving the IAF he has served as the executive pilot for 15 years. He has flown for companies like GMR, RP Goenkas and more.
